Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DailyWardrobe collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website at dailywardrobe.net and the DailyWardrobe Android app.

Who is responsible

DailyWardrobe is operated by Zoi Data Yazılım Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi, İzmir Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi A8 Binası No:21, Urla / İzmir. For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, write to basakesin@zoidata.com.

What we collect

If you create an account

  • Your email address and a password. We never store the password itself — only a cryptographic hash of it.
  • The outfits and products you save, and the ratings you give.
  • Your style preferences: the choices you make during setup, and the language and market you browse in.

If you only browse

  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. These are kept for security and troubleshooting.
  • A session cookie, so the site works while you move between pages.

Analytics — only if you agree

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which outfits people look at. It does not load at all until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press No thanks, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics data is sent. You can change your mind at any time through the Cookie choice link in the footer.

When enabled, Google Analytics collects information about your visit — pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type — and processes it on Google's infrastructure. Google's own privacy terms apply to that processing.

In the Android app

  • Items you save with the heart button in the app's Saved tab are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
  • The app has no analytics or advertising SDK of its own. The website shown inside the app behaves exactly as described above, including the cookie banner.
  • Your appearance and language preferences are stored on your device.
  • Your device's Android backup may include your saved items and preferences if you have backup enabled. Login cookies are deliberately excluded from that backup, so moving to a new device means signing in again.

Affiliate links and Amazon

DailyWardrobe earns commission from some purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

When you tap a product link you leave DailyWardrobe. In the Android app, product links open in your browser or in the Amazon app — not inside our app. From that point, the privacy policy of the shop you land on applies, and that shop may set its own cookies to attribute the sale.

We do not receive your name, address, payment details or order contents from Amazon or any other merchant. What we receive is aggregate commission reporting: which product categories converted and how much was earned. That reporting does not identify you.

Why we are allowed to process this

  • To provide the service you asked for — running your account, keeping your saved items, showing outfits in your language. (Performance of a contract.)
  • To keep the service working and secure — server logs, abuse prevention. (Our legitimate interest in a functioning, non-abused service.)
  • Analytics — only on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Cookies we set

  • Session cookie — essential. Keeps you signed in and the site functional. Cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
  • Consent cookie — records whether you accepted analytics, so we stop asking.
  • Google Analytics cookies — set only after you accept.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Data reaches only:

  • Our hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
  • Google, for analytics, and only if you consented.
  • Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, under a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

  • Account data — until you delete your account. Deleting it from your profile page removes your account and your ratings straight away. Records of clicks on affiliate links are kept as ordinary traffic logs but are no longer linked to you.
  • Server logs — up to 12 months.
  • Analytics data — according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
  • Items saved in the Android app — until you delete them or uninstall the app. They are on your device, so we cannot delete them for you.

Where your data is processed

Our servers and our analytics provider may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area and outside Türkiye. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards permitted by applicable law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:

  • Learn whether we process your data, and get a copy of it.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data deleted.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent to analytics at any time, without affecting what was lawful before.
  • Complain to your data protection authority.

If you are in Türkiye, these correspond to your rights under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), and you may apply to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu). If you are in the EEA or the UK, these are your rights under the GDPR.

Children

DailyWardrobe is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic to and from DailyWardrobe is encrypted with HTTPS, and the Android app refuses unencrypted connections entirely. Passwords are stored only as hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we hold — which does not include payment details, because we never handle payments.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you on the site before the change takes effect.
